Médecins Sans Frontières Sweden is looking for IT Systems lead
You are very flexible and have a problem-solving approach? You are autonomous and good at taking initiatives? We are looking for someone that is very service-minded and has worked extensively in IT support. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Systems and Networking Administrator and strong leadership skills.
Main responsibilities
In this role, your primary responsibilities revolve around IT operations and service management, IT projects, information security, and IT infrastructure. You will be apart of the Support department.
Regarding IT operations and service management, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of IT services, incidents, issues, and requests, following the ITIL framework.
In the realm of IT projects, you provide technical expertise and execute assigned tasks. You proactively report any deviations, risks, or issues and propose relevant solutions. As needed, you may act as the project lead for small IT projects.
You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of information security policies and processes, while also monitoring cyber threats and alerting the appropriate parties.
As for IT infrastructure, you oversee the management of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This involves collaborating with suppliers and entities to enhance existing infrastructure, providing technology guidance, and ensuring hardware and software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
We are looking for you with
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Systems and Networking Administrator or similar.
Industry standard certifications such as below:
o Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
o AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
o MS Intune/Endpoint Manager
o Windows 10/11 Enterprise
Excellent and demonstrated working experience with Microsoft/Office 365 suite, including but not limited to:
o M365 Suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive etc.)
o MS Azure (PaaS solutions)
o Windows Deployment server (required)Experience in managing network switches, routers, and wireless access points, VNets, Network Security Groups, Cloud and on-prem Firewalls, WAFs, VPN services etc.
Set-up, configure and manage physical and virtual servers (Windows and Linux).
Possess the working knowledge of meeting room systems, audio-visual equipment etc.
- Knowledge of operating systems and applications, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting, and trends within system development and usage
To be successful in this position, you should have strong planning and organizing skills. You are comfortable to work independently to find solutions. You are a strong communicator who are fluent in English.

- AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
- Amazon Web services: Fundamentals
- Possess the working knowledge of network cables - copper and fiber optics.
- Full professional literacy in Swedish

Employment terms and conditions
- Type of contract: Fixed term contract
- Contract duration: 24 months which evolves into a permanent contract
- Entry date: 1st September 2023
- Goal oriented working time (37,5 hours/week is full time)
- Salary: 36 365 SEK/month. The salary is set according to the MSF Sweden Salary policy. Previous work experience might give a higher salary, it will be evaluated and calculated if shortlisted for interview (0 to 5%).
- Benefits: Pension, health insurance, life insurance, travel insurance, insurance for work related injuries, wellness contribution (2000 SEK/year) and one wellness hour per week.
- Vacation: 30 days/year
- If required, willingness to travel occasionally for international meetings (mainly in Europe)
- The role may be required to perform certain task outside of normal working hours (1 or 2 weekend/evening a year)
- Full compensation day 1-14 of sick leave
- Work Style: Hybrid with min 50% presence in the office in Årstadal, Stockholm.
- EU/EEA citizen or a valid work permit to work in Sweden.
