As IT System Manager for Hydro Business Applications you will be a part of our Asset IT organization who takes end-to-end responsibility for all IT deliveries to Vattenfall’s asset heavy business units.

Business unit Hydro Nordic is responsible for Vattenfall’s 90 hydropower plants and 400 dams in the Nordic region. Hydro’s renewable electricity generation is a prerequisite for a climate-smart and fossil-free society, and a sustainable energy system.
As IT System Manager for Hydro Business Applications you will manage the IT-aspects of a productive service/application based on conditions written in service level agreements between Hydro Nordic and Vattenfall IT.
You will take responsibility for Hydro’s Field Service management system, and other business specific applications. You will make sure that the agreed service levels are fulfilled, and coordinate the overall plans and maintenance activities, including delivery lead, adaptive maintenance, change management, incident management and also project management for larger releases.
As part of your job, you also see trends and developments, and decide on their relevance for the IT system in cooperation with IT Architect and your line manager. You will also support and collaborate with other IT System Managers in our aim to have a learning and supportive organization.
Other parts of your responsibilities
• Work with incidents in collaboration with the involved competence areas
• Decide and prioritize activities with regard to cross functional issues
• Ensure a controlled communication and planning of maintenance windows
• End to end responsibility of Life Cycle Management
• Monitor and report operational KPIs to support the daily maintenance of the system, make sure that KPI values are at an efficient level
• Maintain system documentation (service manual, functional and technical documentation)
• Apply technical security demands and regular control procedures (including authorizations)
• Responsible for operational maintenance budget (planning and follow up).
Your qualifications
• Relevant experience from working in a service-oriented role with IT system management
• ITIL-skills, both knowledge and practical experience
• At least upper secondary school, or an academic degree within for example IT, economics, engineering
• Skilled Microsoft Office-user, and fluent in Swedish and English.
You are able to work autonomous in a self-leadership role such as this, you are a good communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer satisfaction and good business understanding is important to you, it motivates you to deliver even more efficient IT services and solutions.
