To our function managing Data Platforms for global follow-up, we’re now looking for an IT System Owner. Together you’re responsible to ensure that we’re designing, developing and maintaining our warehouses and architecture to meet our enterprise needs and future challenges!
Your mission
As IT System Owner, your overall mission is to manage our data platforms in the BI area. You cooperate with architects, IT delivery teams and business partners to ensure that our platforms are running at their optimum. You take full ownership of our future global platform that is based on the latest Microsoft technologies. This platform is to be launched during 2020, and until fully operating, you ensure our legacy platforms are handled during the reminder of their life cycle. This includes being the agile development coordinator for the global platform and handover from project to line organization. Furthermore, your responsibilities include the system itself, budget, SLA’s and AM processes.
In this position, you’re preferably located in Sandviken and some travel may occur.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Computer Science, Systems Development or equal, combined with a background in the BI area and experience from agile IT environments. Experience from working and managing Microsoft Tabular solutions is advantageous in this position, as well as working with Microsoft Azure. You also have general knowledge of SAP/BW and Data Warehousing. As we act in a global environment with many international contacts, you need to be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
