Seco Tools is a worldwide leading supplier of metal cutting solutions in areas such as milling, stationary tools, hole making and tooling systems for a diverse mix of customers. Your mission
In this position, you’re a vital part of our journey to find new ways to incorporate IT in the digital future of our business. You perform system development according to requirements from Seco IT Demand and take technical responsibility for development, maintenance, and support of appointed systems, including all related interfaces. You also ensure continuous business operations and business development through IT – making sure that we have the IT solutions and services needed to fulfill the strategy and reach our goals. You achieve this by being proactive and innovative, putting forward the possibilities IT can provide and suggesting opportunities.
Also included in your role is to:
Design, develop, test, debug and implement software.
Create system specifications and time estimates.
Determine system software design requirements and develop systems considering usability, scalability, security and accessibility.
Suggest solutions and functionality to stakeholders.
Create and maintain system documentation.
Act as 3rd line support for appointed systems or new improvements.

The location for this position is flexible within Sweden – meaning you’re based at one of our Seco sites in Sweden, working remotely from any other chosen location.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or another relevant field. You have experience from a similar position and are used to work in Visual Studio and the Microsoft environment. You’re skilled in C#, JavaScript and .NET, and if you have experience, or other know-how in e.g. HTML, Azure, MS SQL, Python and Mathcad, it’s beneficial. You have fluent skills in both written and verbal English while knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
