The Celsa Group is setting up an IT centre in Halmstad for its Nordic business.The IT centre will be part of Celsa's IT department, with around 100 employees and its headquarters in Barcelona.The Celsa Group is now looking for an IT technician As an OST (OnSite Support Technician) you will be providing the Swedish and Danish units with technical support.This support will be via direct contact, telephone, email and remote access.Your duties will also include production-related IT tasks, which means that you should have general knowledge of electronics, PLC and serial interfaces. You should also have experience of: . Installing computer software .Client hardware . Windows 2000/2003 servers . MS SQL . Citrix environments . ASP / .NET . Printers, MFP and print-servers . Wireless access points . Switches . UPS . Imaging . Backup management Because the position also involves travelling in Sweden and Denmark you must have a driving licence. Our corporate language is English and because we have close ties with the IT department in Barcelona you must be proficient in both written and spoken English.We would prefer that you have completed an IT course at post-secondary school level or have similar proficiency, and several years' work experience in this field. You should be a structured and meticulous person who enjoys solving problems and who is also service-minded.You should be motivated with the ability to work independently and take personal responsibility, but also be able to work as part of a team.We also require you to be used to documenting and presenting your work.You must have a willingness to learn new things and constantly develop.
