IT4IT Architect to Vattenfall

YOU WILL

You will take responsibility for the enterprise architecture and solution architecture around our IT4IT estate. Your main task will be to support in strategic projects expanding and consolidating our vast IT4IT landscape. This landscape supports Vattenfall IT in delivering IT services, like service management tools, DevOpsTest tools, enterprise application portfolio management tools and various other tools both in on-premise and in cloud. Being T-shaped is imperative, so being able to quickly oversee the landscape and impact of decisions, whereas if needed run along with the internal IT to support technology decisions.

You will contribute to key initiatives in Vattenfall IT to deliver:

- Integrated DevOpsTest landscape (for sensitive applications)
- Enabling automation and injection of AI in internal IT delivery processes (like request handling, incident resolution, standard services)
- Information and in solution architecture for IT4IT landscape to ensure correct steering information
- Migration of applications to cloud or drive solution selection for cloud-native alternatives

YOU ARE
We are looking for a colleague that has experience as architect (concepts like target architecture, solution selection, architecture reviews are bread and butter for you). Preferably, you have a strong background or interest into BMC products, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Atlassian, OS CI/CD tools. This means that you are up to date on the latest market trends, and you have a good understanding of usage of this technology within IT. Furthermore, you have working experience with IT4IT domain; service management, service desk, DevOps, Testing, monitoring and automation.

We believe that you quickly grasp a complex issue and communicate it correctly and clearly to management and are subsequently not afraid to explain the solution proposal to the technical teams. Moreover, you have strong communication skills and comfortable to engage with senior management and engineers to discuss solutions. You know how to combine and balance stakeholders’ interests and are not afraid to take decisions to ensure output is being realized. We also believe that you are dedicated to your work and enjoy being in an ever-changing environment and work under pressure when needed.
