We are looking to recruit for a ITC Test Engineer in our team in Stockholm
Depending on in which phase the as a Test Engineer, you will be engaged in the project, you will be subordinated to the Installation Leader, Test Leader, Commissioning Leader and/or the Work Package Owner, to carry out tasks according to respective field of responsibility
Purpose of the job
Carry out installation-, test- and commissioning activities in a proper, correct manner, according to the ITC process.
Key responsibilities:
• Participate in the preparatory work and support respective ITC responsible by preparing or producing documentation and in preparation of time tables.
• Check that tools, instruments and test equipment are available, calibrated and functioning.
• Carry out installation, test and commissioning activities on site, including entering records.
• Make sure work is carried out with respect to personal safety and that all electrical safety measures are enforced and followed .Take the role as electrical safety leader if needed.
• Report and file Non-Conformity Reports according to established routines, both project- and department related.
• Be supportive regarding handling and updates of the ITC documentation, e.g. department documentation.
• Report progress to respective ITC responsible.
Qualifications:
• Good technical education and experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• General network and Linux knowledge.
• Knowledge and understanding of the ITC process.
• Experience of work on or around railway tracks. Really appreciated knowledge of railway signalling systems
• Able to read and interpret drawings and circuit diagrams.
• General knowledge about the various subsystems and equipment included in RCS’s signal systems.
• Experience from installation and test work, knowledge about and experience from electric installation.
• Knowledge about applicable test methods and applicable tools and test equipment.
• Good knowledge about safety regulations.
• Certified as electrical safety leader.
