Java Backend Developer in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Java Backend Developer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
As the customer's platform is used by a large number of users and handles large amounts of data and transactions, putting high demands on our code and our willingness to find new creative solutions.
To improve the code, we use code reviews, in which we review each other's code to find the best solution. As a result, it is critical that you have development experience in transaction-intensive environments and systems, such as Postgres or similar environments.

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
The candidate must be a natural problem solver who approaches challenges in an innovative manner while keeping the end user in mind.
You are an enterprising team player with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate while maintaining a sense of humour.
You should, of course, be responsive on all levels and willing to discuss suggestions for the best possible solutions.
Your tasks will include the following:
Create new features.
Platform upkeep, improvement, and expansion based on the Spring ecosystem
Platform migration to a new containerized setup in Kubernetes
Maintain the system's stability and performance.
Cooperate within the self-organized agile team - attend meetings, code reviews, and so on.
Assist with the platform's service integration.
Mentor others and share your knowledge.



The consultant must have the knowledge of:
Java
Spring / Spring Boot
Hibernate
Generic persistence API, JPA
AWS (or similar)
Postgres
Git
Angular
Docker
Kubernetes

You will have an advantage if you are familiar with the following:
Appdynamics
Sonarcube
