Java Developer

We are super-excited to share that we are looking for a Java Developer to join our Omni-channel team (OC-Team). This teams focus is on creating and maintaining our email recommendations platform, as well as our future expansion into the Omni channel market, that make use of unique behavioural data to send relevant product recommendations to our customers end-user, increasing the customers conversion rate, CTR and revenue.

- You'd be a pillar in our customers email marketing success by providing your skills in creating & maintaining Elevates email recommendations platform

- You'd work with architecture, development & maintenance interfaces & endpoints to both our product and auxiliary services within AWS

- You'd be part of creating the new joint and evolved email recommendations platform that takes knowledge and data from both Evolve and Engage

So, who are you?
We are looking for a driven and analytical problem-solver, who is willing to learn! It is important that you are self-motivated, by taking responsibility for your tasks and are structured in your approach. Since you will work in a team, it is also important that you are open and work well with others.

Besides the above personal attributes, we'd like for you to have experience of:

- A couple of years relevant work experience with Java

- PostgreSQL, or other relevant object-relational database systems

- Different AWS services, e.g API Gateway, Cloud functions, S3 Bucket, Elastic beanstalk.

- Data modelling

- Git

- Jenkins

- Maven or Gradle

- Typescript

- HTML & CSS

- Tomcat server

If you have been developing products or services in any of the following areas; Online retail; Statistics & Analytics - that'd be meritorious.
