Java Developer for Axiell Library Group

Poolia PRESENTATION Axiell Library Group is looking for two experienced Java developers with the potential of taking an architect role. We are currently building a new centralized platform to hold our future central web services and content.It is built in Java using many of the latest technologies and open source tools such as portlet containers, Hibernate, REST, Spring, Maven, Continuous Integration, etc.We are using an Agile development process based on the Scrum methodology.Axiell is taking the step into the next generation of products including many Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 community and content collaboration functions. ARBETSUPPGIFTER Your tasks will be: - be an important part in development of the new products and platform - cooperate closely with our different development sites - provide valuable input and help in the planning phase - keep yourself updated on the latest technologies and tools - analyze requirements and suggest solutions - communicate with the rest of the organization. UTBILDNING/ERFARENHET You have a degree or diploma in Computer Science or similar, and have at least 7-8 years experience in programming and is an effective programmer.We are looking for a person who: - has a human touch and has a good sense of what cooperation means - is structured in working methods and analytical in thinking - likes to combine technical know-how with business solutions - has a strong drive - has good communication skills in English.It is beneficial if you have experience in architecting, designing and implementing Java-based enterprise applications. FÖRETAGSPRESENTATION Axiell is a leading provider of management systems to various types of libraries, archives and museums in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and England.We have several hundred customers and we will be expanding into new markets and countries in the coming 2-3 years.Axiell Library Group has development departments in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and England.These departments develop and maintain a number of management systems for the library community along with other community forming systems.
