Java Developer – Gothenburg

Assignment Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be working with a group of talented back-end engineers and be engaged in agile product development focusing on supporting and managing the lifecycle of subscriptions for new and old customers.
Responsibilities:
· Innovate the customer experience by building back-end services primarily using REST APIs
· Work with a cross-functional team and quality engineers to service and enrich the customer experience from order creation to delivery and long-term ownership
· Mainly use Java and SpringBoot to set up services
· Utilize ELK and Grafana for dashboards
· Deploy applications in Kubernetes and Azure using tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jaeger, Prometheus, etc.
· Use Kafka as the event streaming platform
Requirements:
· Extensive experience as a back-end engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products
· Strong knowledge of Java and comfortable working in a Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud setup
· Solid understanding of microservices
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Take charge and drive commitment, with a change management mindset
· Bonus: front-end knowledge
