As a Software Engineer, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and be working together in a team in a global and agile environment. You will mainly develop and maintain our java based internal application that is used to configure Alstom’s signalling products. Our growing teams with around 30 developers are present in Hässleholm, Stockholm and Bangkok. Currently we are on an exciting journey of bringing our application to the cloud. Your responsibilities will include:
Software Development including analysis, design, and programming.
Software implementation mainly using Java and Eclipse Modelling Framework.
Analysis and estimates of new features.
Support and maintenance of existing features.
Offering input and support for functional testing.
Technical and product domain knowledge within railway signalling systems.
Technical support and documentation.


Key requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant specialization.
Proven experience in Software Development and global projects
Strong experience with Java and OOP.
Knowledge of Agile methodology.
Preferred experience in:
Git version control software.
Gerrit code collaboration tool.
Jenkins CI software.
Javascript, CSS & HTML.
C/C++.
Eclipse IDE.
Excellent team player and a good communicator.
Swedish and English at a fluent level are mandatory for this role.
