Position Summary
You will be part of the core development team of M3 Microservices, leading the architecture for Microservices tech stack and building a platform that other teams can build their application on. This includes both hands-on infrastructure, architecture and coding work.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, test and document platform and core microservices in the M3 Microservice team
· Be part of architectural decisions on microservices
· Help other team members and other teams to develop and adopt microservices
· Be part of scrum meetings and report progress and flag problems as soon as possible
· Work with other teams when needed to help or get help on roadblocks and problems
Key Requirements/Experience
Essential
· Understanding of high availability, scalability, distributed systems and microservices architecture
· Containerization and orchestration based on Docker, Kubernetes
· Java 8+ with Spring Boot, Micronaut or a similar web application framework
· Unit, end-to-end, integration and contract testing
· Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
· Scrum, documentation and knowledge transfer skills
Desirable
· Understanding of SaaS and a cloud-based solution using any of major providers Azure/AWS/GCP
· Understanding of high availability, scalability, distributed systems and microservices architecture
· Containerization and orchestration based on Docker, Kubernetes
· Java 8+ with Spring Boot, Micronaut or a similar web application framework
· Unit, end-to-end, integration and contract testing
· Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
