Javascript Developer, Merchant Integration

Klarna has about 250 engineers that are working on multiple projects at any one time. This requires skilled and versatile development teams that face a variety of challenges in designing, planning, configuring and developing across multiple platforms and environments. The goal is to keep the flow of releases steady and with high quality, which means joining disconnected systems together and automating as much as possible.

Klarna?s Merchant Integration team is providing ways for merchants to integrate their e-store to Klarna?s business systems. We are using the latest cloud solutions to handle our millions of users, where speed, quality and reliability is our main drivers. Check developers.klarna.com to see a sample of our work.

As a developer you will work from usability and design to writing high performance code for our different assets. You will take part in the entire development process, from gathering requirements to delivery. You will work closely with your colleagues to solve complex problems, from analyzing the problem to designing, planning and implementing new functionality.

Required skills:
- At least 3 years of high quality front end development
- Preferably an MSc in Computer Science or equivalent from one of the top engineering schools
- Great skills in Javascript with fresh knowledge of Node.js, CoffeeScript, Backbone etc.
- Broad skills in CSS and HTML

Preferable:
- Experience with Amazon AWS services is a big bonus
- Deep knowledge of caching technologies
- Knowledge within other languages as Python, Ruby, PHP etc.
