Description

The client have plans to migrate all Service Management tools (currently in HP Service Manager and Service Now) to JIRA Service Management, hence JIRA SM Developers are required.

The duties and tasks performed by the IT4IT team are various. You would like to work in Agile setup, the team follows Daily Scrum Meetings and all other Agile ceremonies.

Work tasks:

- Responsible for transition of ITSM Tool (from HP Service Manager to JIRA Service Management) for the Organization.
- Experience with the Atlassian product line (Jira Service Management, Bitbucket and Confluence).
- Design custom JIRA SM workflow for different issues types, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA.
- Configuring conditions into workflows, changes to workflows and fields, scripting and reporting.
- Responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrade, and enhancements to JIRA SM, Confluence and integrations with other tools or plugins.
- Customize workflows, create SLAs, queries and reports.
- Work with process teams to understand their processes(Service Desk, Incident Mngt, Problem Mngt, Change Mngt, Service Request Mngt etc) and configure tool to suit their processes.
- Gather inputs from stakeholders on current, intended and potential use of Jira Service Management and provide end to end analysis and future state redesign by providing architectural and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams(Infra, SAP, Finance etc) to understand requirements and develop solutions accordingly to cater to their requirements.
- Develop solutions for a Configuration Management DB and it’s relations to CIs.
- Set up user and base data, financial data, Configuration Data, Asset data etc and experience in migration of data from other applications to Jira SM.
- Manage integrations to various source systems.
- Creating custom dashboards, advanced filters, email Notification Schemes in JIRA.
- Develop user training and technical support as needed.


Mandatory competence and experience:

- 4-5 years of technical education and at least 3 years of experience working in similar roles.
- Experience with the Atlassian product line (Jira Service Management, Bitbucket and Confluence).
- Groovy Scripting
- Release & Deployment
- Service Management (ITIL)
- Very good skills in Groovy Scripting
- Knowledge and experience of (Azure) AD
- Atlassian applications knowledge
- Basic database admin, SQL and LDAP knowledge
- Good knowledge of general IT infrastructure, network and Operation Systems
- English - fluent

- Can easily understand and sort out complex requirements
- Can drive and develop solutions independently
- You need to be used to standing up for your solutions and be able to anchor your ideas within the team
- You have documentation skills and make sure to leave a clear trace what has been developed
- Enjoy working in an agile team working environment (Scrum/SAFe), but also consulting the business regarding IAM matters or needs
- Ability to question the value of what is being implemented
