We are looking for an experienced Jira Specialist (SME) to join the Digital Center Core team, one of the key enablers of Ericsson's digital journey. We are driving the end-to-end digital transformation alignment, defining and deploying an agile execution model across Ericsson, while developing business-oriented talent chapters for Data Scientists, Agile Coaches, Business Analysts, and Change & Communication Experts.
The Jira Specialist (SME) is a highly visible role at the center of the group’s digital transformation initiatives, with the focus to own the complete project administration responsibilities of Jira suite of applications, associated plugins, and projects. This role will also drive, design, and configure Jira based on DTO-defined ways of working.
The role will require frequent interactions with key digital transformation stakeholders, a deep understanding of agile ways of working, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a solution-solving attitude.
What you will do
Be the subject matter expert in Jira, Confluence, and related plugins
Design, develop, and implement the right approach and set up Jira tools (software, service management, confluence, and the associated plugins) to support DTO ways of working and projects needs
Document Jira setup and develop hands-on user manual and training
Be the single point of contact in managing all existing projects, setup, configuration, training, etc.
Implement new Jira projects, workflows, integrations, customization, and develop effective dashboards and reports that help DTO to deliver an efficient operation
Automate Jira work wherever possible which allows teams to save time, keep data up to date and focus on actual work
Guiding and configuring permissions, priority schemes, screens, and issue-level securities
Be a custodian to make sure all LHs and programs are following the Jira defined ways of working
Timely issue resolution on Jira projects and Confluence
You will bring
A degree in Computer science, IT, Engineering or equivalent
10+ years of professional experience and solid knowledge of agile methodologies
4-10 years of strong hands-on experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira service management) in large scale transformations
Solid understanding of advanced JQL
Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Expert in Jira automation
Must have experience in eazyBI reporting, X-ray test management and Roadmaps (Plans)
Outstanding problem-solving ability with logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle sophisticated issues
Ability to work Multi-functionally in an international team environment and effectively with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
Excellent presentation and communication skills to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of Ericsson processes, product portfolio, and ways of working is considered a plus
