Jira System Administrator

Klarna's Engineering Support department is responsible for the environments, applications and services that enable fast and safe deployment of software releases to the production system.

Klarna has about 190 engineers and multiple projects which require a skilled and versatile team of engineers who can handle assist on a variety of challenges from designing, planning, configuring and developing across multiple platforms and environments. The goal is to keep the flow of releases steady and with high quality, which means joining disconnected systems together and automating as much as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Administer Jira, Confluence instances and formulate technical solutions using Jira and associated Jira plugins
- Create and maintain our JIRA projects, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, etc.
- Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance
- Serve as the Jira/Atlassian technical resource for migrations to ensure adoption of development/workflow processes, address user questions and develop training as needed
- Identify and help design integration points between JIRA,
- Confluence, and other systems
- Coordinate and perform upgrades of JIRA and Confluence
- Provide training and documentation as needed

Desired Qualifications

- Hands on Jira, Confluence administration experience
- Knowledge of Agile and Continuous Integration practices preferable
- Defining, designing, and implementing metrics strongly preferred
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Experience with Git and Chef highly desirable
- Excellent problem solving skills, process implementation skills
