We are looking for a talented Junior Buyer to men’s and women’s ski. You will be a key member of our ski buying team and work closely with Senior Buyer, Design & Pattern maker, as well as with our selected suppliers. Your main responsibilities will be to assist Senior Buyer Ski mainly with technical woven styles as well as down and hybrid styles. 

Your key areas will be:

• Assisting Senior Buyer Ski in daily work with focus on woven styles
• Daily supplier communication and negotiations in collaboration with Senior Buyer
• Product development in collaboration with Designer and Senior Buyer
• Making bill of materials and communicate style instructions to suppliers
• Making sample comments and make sure all products keep premium quality level
• Quality testing garments, fabrics and trimmings in collaboration with Senior Buyer
• Creating Purchase Orders and follow up
• Being an active part of fittings together with Senior Buyer, design & patternmaker 
• Responsible for trim bookings in collaboration with Senior Buyer
• Assisting Senior Buyer in calculations of greige and color bookings
• Following up on production planning
• Creating & updating style related information in PLM system & in Navision


 

To succeed in this role you have a few years’ experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer Assistant within the textile industry, preferably within woven ski or technical sport garments. There is a big plus if you have a genuine interest in skiing or snowboarding, but it is not a must. We wish you to be product driven with an interest in the product cycle from development to sold in shop. You also enjoy being organised and attentive to details.
