Cennox Europe is looking to expand its R&D department. Therefore we are looking for a Certifications and Homologations Coordinator.

Our Head Office for Europe is located in Vilvoorde, Belgium with a satellite office in Skellefteå, Sweden. To further strengthen our R&D Security team for the Banking, Financial and Retail Industry, primarily around protection of their ATM Machines and cash handling activities, we are looking for a passionate certification and homologation coordinator.
Function
As a Certifications Coordinator you will assume all responsibilities with regards to all certification and homologation activities of all of Cennox’s existing and new product lineup.
Your main tasks will include:
Manage certifications/homologations for new Cennox products
Prepare business case for approval in the Product Board
Prepare requests to the appropriate instances and laboratories
Prepare documents (technical, administrative, supporting documents) for the certification/homologation activities
Prepare the necessary products to ship to the laboratories for certification/homologation testing
Organize with the external parties the necessary test activities
Follow up and report on the main KPI’s for all certification projects (budget, lead time, resources, requirements)
Follow-up with the laboratories on ongoing testing of products
File complete project on network drives and tools
Manage certifications/homologations for existing Cennox products
Keep track of existing certifications/homologations for all Cennox products
Identify certifications/homologations that are subject for a renewal
Prepare business case for approval in the Product Board
Prepare requests to the appropriate instances and laboratories
Prepare documents (technical, administrative, supporting documents) for the recertification/rehomologation activities
Prepare the necessary products to ship to the laboratories for recertification/rehomologation testing
Organize with the external parties the necessary test activities
Follow up and report on the main KPI’s for all recertification/rehomologation projects (budget, lead time, resources, requirements)
Follow-up with the laboratories on ongoing testing of products
File complete project on network drives and tools
Remain upto-date on new standards covering Cennox’ product portfolio
Advise senior management on needed actions to add and keep certifications/homologations
Chair a recurrent status review meeting with stakeholders
Check local certification/homologation requirements for new countries
Assist in planning the roadmap for release of new products and more specific the certification/homologation related activities
Collaborate with suppliers and / or customers to discuss certification/homologation requirements for integrated solutions with a 3rd party solution
Attend customer/3rd party meetings/certification bodies/laboratories (internationally) during testing and followup activities
Identify certification/homologation activities coming from ECN’s and take appropriate actions
Perform inhouse pretesting of the products (e.g. ESD, staining, mechanical, climate, …) in collaboration with the test engineers and other colleagues
Respond to customer requests for compliance and certification information
Profile
You have a degree in (Electro-)mechanics and are familiar with certifications, CE standards, FCC standards, UL standards.
You have the necessary years of experience in a similar role and you are an expert in industry standards and regulation, electronical and mechanical testing.
Hands-on experience on ESD, EMC, climate, mechanical, staining, … testing is a plus.
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French and/or Swedish and/or German is a plus. Business travel (also international) is possible.
You can perform your job both independently and in a team.
