We are looking for a highly motivated OS Platform developer to join us developing and maintaining the embedded software for Ericsson’s Microwave Radio Link products.
MINI-LINK is a well-known trademark of Ericsson’s microwave transport solution within the radio system with more than 3 million sold units. We deliver market leading performance driven by smartphones and IoT.
As a Developer in this position, you work in our highly skilled Operating system platform team. The team's tasks consist of maintaining and improving build systems, performing board bring-up on new products, upgrading our products to the latest version of Linux (Yocto based).
You will also develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems, and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.

What you will do
We work strive for creativity and continuous improvement. The position includes responsibilities from all development stages of the software life cycle from planning, requirement analysis, software and system design, implementation, and testing. As a team you will on a day-to-day basis interact with other product development and continuous integration teams.
You will:
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
Develop and test high quality products
Perform troubleshooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

You will bring
Core Competences:
Passionate about Embedded Linux Development
C / C++
Build systems knowledge
Bootloader
Kernel and userspace driver development/debugging
Basic understanding of low-level protocols, I2C, SPI
Basic understanding of reading schematic diagrams and data sheets
Kernel and userspace driver development/debugging
Yocto, Make and CMake
Knowledge about TCP/UDP/IP Networks
Lean & Agile knowledge and skills
Working in teams
GIT and Gerrit
You do not need to fulfill all above criteria but have an interest and drive to learn the once you don’t tick off.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
MSc or BSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
At least 4 years of experience in SW development and architecture or similar roles
English skills
