NKT is expanding and are looking for the next Jointer Manager in Karlskrona!
Ensure capacity and capability of resources
The task of the department is to provide to HV cable installation projects, both offshore and onshore across mostly Europe. The department´s task is to ensure the right capacity and capability of the resources in the light of projects, service jobs and warranty cases. Together with your peer manager you will hire jointers, facilitate training by HV training specialists, take staffing decisions on a daily basis and review performance of jointers based on feedback from project & site managers. You will make sure the jointers have the right certificates in place and act according to NKT´s high safety standards. The department consists of ~100 colleague’s and spans across 2 countries, i.e., you will work within an international team.
Your main tasks will be:
* Disciplinary responsibility of 20-28 jointers resources
* Facilitating technical, HSE & personal skills development of jointers
* Ensuring proper certification according to legal & client requirements
* Staffing of jointers to site
* S&OP planning of jointing resources
* Expanding partnership network
* Handling performance of jointers
* Keeping up and improving safety standards
* Continuous improvement work/projects for Service BL & Resource Department
* Strategical view-how to secure right level of organization and competences

You will be expected to plan, organize, and prioritize the projects – often affected by delays and changes – and your flexibility and ability to work in a highly varied and quickly changeable environment is crucial in this role.

Having the right personality is extremely important to succeed in this role.
You should be prepared to travel for approximately 20-30 days a year, though for larger projects the manager will be on-site for parts of the project. The position requires proficiency in Swedish and English, complemented by proficient written and oral communication abilities. Any Eastern or Southern European language, as well as Danish, will be to your advantage.
In order to thrive in this position, we believe you have:
* Experience in project management preferably in the energy sector (building power substations, power plants) or construction sector
* Alternative: Consulting background combined with technical education and proven history of industry, construction or energy sector, or many years of work experience
* Good stakeholder management capabilities
* Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder and often ambiguous field
* Experience of strategical work when it comes to planning, cost and competences and skills
