Jr Controller to an automotive company in Arendal

We are looking fo a person that wants to take the next step and get great experience in Controlling! Are you that person? This is a consultant assignment through Poolia Väst and you will be working at one of our clients in Arendal. The company is a big and international company within the automotive industry. The assignment starts in July or when you are ready after the summer, and will end in January 2023. After this time there are very good opportunities to be extended! Welcome with your application!

About the position
A transformation is ongoing within our clients company, and they are aiming for a digitalized supply chain. This will include new systems, new roles, and new ways of working.
They are a Cost Control team in change with a mission to support their operational colleagues with a stable financial set up in this transformation journey. The Cost Controlling team is performing Cost Controlling through AR and AP follow up and compliance. They are responsible for all manual Purchase Order and Sales Order creation, as well as deviation mitigation for Transport Material.

Responsibilities
You will work in a European and global supply chain context that provides an interesting diversity both in people and responsibility areas. This team is controlling all the freight cost within the company for the European flows and overseas flows from Europe.
You will work together with colleagues within Transport Operation Europe but to a great extent also with colleagues in other parts of the company. There are plenty of opportunity to build a strong network.

This role requires digital analytical skills and competences, as well as a lot of patience and creativity to handle the manual order creation. To secure payment to their carriers, and that they are paid by our customers, they create manual Purchase- and Sales Orders for express transports and container flows.
