Axel Arigato currently has 6 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 65 members of staff in 4 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our fast growing company in our great Finance Department!

Axel Arigato is growing fast and as a result we need to expand our accounting resources. This will be a new role within the Accounting Team located at our Gothenburg HQ. You will work closely with our experienced Accountant and report to the Accounting Manager.

Job description

• Ongoing accounting processes for the Axel Arigato Group companies.
• Manual booking for incoming customer payments and vendor payments.
• Managing incoming invoicing handling and vendor communications.
• Reconciliation of Customer and Vendor ledgers, with particular attention to reconciliation of payment provider ledgers.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in time and follows legal requirements.
• Involved in implementing new processes for better internal control and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree.
• 1-2 years relevant work experience.
• Positive about monthly closing processes and routines.
• Enjoy problem solving with a structured and methodical approach to their work.
• Enjoy working in a fun team environment with a flat management structure.
• Open to new tasks and professional development in a fast-growing company.
