Junior Accountant - Record to Report 

From Record to Report, we are providing the accounting for most of the SKF companies in the North EMEA region. Our team consists of Chief Accountants, Accountants, and Experts in specific processes.


We have recently taken the next step in changing the way of working from transition to transformation. Finance will a have powerful role in the digital environment, and we want to be on the frontline of the next generation of Business Finance. We have Business Excellence as SKF’s version of Lean, and we have just started the journey to Global Finance.

What you can expect in the role
We are currently looking for a responsible and accountable person that is not afraid of taking on new challenges. In this role you will work closely with the Accountants doing the following:
Manage and execute accounting activities such as handling specific month-end closing activities in a company, and managing account reconciliations
Support in preparing financial reports for different legal entities/areas
Be involved in accounting-related projects and improvements
Grow to be a facilitator in the record to report process improvements and use SKF Business Excellence as the tool to reach future goals



We expect you to have/be
A university graduate in accounting
Have a mindset of delivering with high quality and accuracy
Computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
Previous experience in accounting is considered advantageous
Good communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
Good communication skills in Swedish both verbally and in writing is considered advantageous

Some additional information
This position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden.


You will report to the Manager of Record to Report. The team consists of around 30 members today split into two teams. All have long experience in accounting, and we support each other as a team.
