Job Description
At H&M group – Business Tech, we are accelerating digitalization and to stay relevant, we need to ensure strong competences in place to improve our end-to-end supply chain & logistics processes for online and store. For our customers to receive goods at best price and speed, we are looking for a Graduate to join us as Junior Application Expert working within last mile at H&M. You would be part of the,
Transport B2C product team
The Transport Business-to-Consumer is an agile product team responsible for tech enabling parcels to be sent to customers in H&Ms online channel. We work with SaaS partners that connect H&M to last mile delivery companies across the globe. The team consists of ten people, in various roles, application experts, service owner & product manager.
What we do on a day-to-day basis
On a day-to-day basis we work in projects, some examples are, launching online sales in a new country, setting up a new warehouse or tech transformations such as digitalizing the return journey. In addition to projects, we are responsible for maintenance of the product where we drive smaller changes to support transport operations.
Qualifications
What you would do:
Majority of your time would be spent working together with experienced team members in various projects. Every project is unique but typically consist of us gathering requirements, creating solution designs, aligning with our SaaS partners, testing and partaking in go-live activities.
Some of your time will be spent working on maintenance activities which are of a less complex nature. Here you can work more independent and take support from the team as needed.
As you grow your skills, learn about the application landscape and business process, you will be given more responsibility and possibility to develop and grow in areas that interest you.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
Basic understanding of software development principles
Basic understanding of e-commerce logistics
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Internships, personal projects, and relevant coursework can all be valuable in demonstrating your qualifications for this role
