Junior Aviation Business Analyst

Stockholm Skavsta Airport is the 5th largest airport in Sweden handling 1, 7 million passagers in 2014.

We are now looking to expand the department with a Junior Analyst. The Commerce Department consists of 6 persons and administrates the commercial facilities at the airport. The main commercial responsibility incorporates development of airservice- revenue, development of parking facilities and airport consessionaires.

The Junior analyst will assist the department in airservice development and implementation of new and existing routes into Stockholm Skavsta Airport, (SSF). The workscope includes analysis of traffic statistics, airline booking data and airline capacity analysis. This to be presented as business cases towards potential and existing airline operators.

The function will also monitor day-to-day parking revenues and yields with aim to optimize usage of car parking facilities at Stockholm Skavsta Airport. Another important role for this function is to monitor Stockholm Skavsta Airport concessionaires such as restaurants, tax-free outlets and other commercial facilities. Monitoring of revenue development and initiating an airport co-marketing strategy with the consessionaires will also be a part of the function.

The analyst will also actively assist in creating social media platforms aiming to communicate with passengers and other airport users. This enables direct marketing opportunities for the airport through mobile applications such as Facebook, Instagram etc. On a frequent basis the airport also undertakes periodical surveys to gauge consumer behaviour at the airport and in the business community.

EDUCATION:
High School certificate.
Post-secondary education, (YH-utbildning). Economy, Market Communication, Social Sciencies).
Training in Project Management.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Swedish and English fluent in speaking and writing.

EXPERTISE:
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Communication skills.
Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office and especially excel & Powerpoint.
