Your role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help enhance our innovative data solutions. Our mission is to seamlessly connect and analyze data to drive insights and support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data engineering, proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, and a passion for building cutting-edge data pipelines and visualizations to deliver insights to customers. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets, craft complex queries, and build advanced data visualizations, contributing to the advancement of our technology and the enhancement of data-driven user experiences.
Your Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines to efficiently process large volumes of data from various sources.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement data transformation and integration solutions for advanced analytics and insights.
Optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reduce latency through automation tools and techniques.
Develop complex queries and create advanced data visualizations to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Participate in the deployment and monitoring of data pipeline solutions to ensure seamless operation and quick issue resolution.
Assist in evaluating and selecting new data processing technologies and platforms that meet security and business continuity requirements.

Your Qualifications
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala is required.
Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Flink) is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services is required.
Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and crafting complex queries is required.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
