As an Junior Brand & Category Manager in the Cheese team, working with brands such as Arla, Arla Ko, Arla Familjefavoriter or Wästgöta Kloster, you will be responsible for developing and driving a strategic portfolio of cheese products and brands. Together with your colleagues in the marketing team you will own and develop these brand and category positions, to deliver on our ambitious growth targets.
About the role
Key responsibilities:
Lead and implement the marketing plans for our Cheese category and brand in Sweden.
Support the strategic direction based on consumer & category insights and develop plans to grow brand and category penetration.
Be a category leader by analyzing and elaborating action plans to win within our segments and ensure profitability & net revenue growth (product offer, positioning, price, promo)
Drive NPD & other brand related projects.
Work on yearly communication plan & content, from insights to execution, ensuring both long- & short-term business growth behind right balanced emotional/tactical communication plan.
Collaborate with agencies to execute strategy and plans.
Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams across Arla Foods – e.g. work close with the sales & customer marketing function to identify the category growth potentials and with e.g. NPD and Supply chain to bring solutions to unlock that potential.
Who are you?
A strong academic track record with a completed university degree, likely in marketing
Relevant work experience is a plus. We have the possibility to tailor the role and will adjust it to the right candidate, therefore we will consider candidates both with and without previous work experience within brand and category management
As a person, you have strong personal leadership skills and a growth mindset – willing to develop and challenge the status quo.
Eager to use your strong analytical skills to unveil business opportunities among market/consumer data
Your collaboration skills are strong and you have excellent influencing skills.
Diligent project management will be crucial to effectively drive the brand positions forward.
The corporate language is English, strong Swedish skills is a plus.
