junior Breakdown Coordinator at Volvo in Belgium

Hays Specialist Recruitment works closely together with Volvo Parts for the project holiday replacements . Hays will take care of the recruitment and selection of these vacancies. Volvo Action Service, offers round-the-clock assistance with emergency breakdown services for trucks and busses all over Europe. They are based in Oostakker (near Gent- Belgium).

Job description:
You are responsible for getting truckdrivers with a breakdown as soon as possible back on the road.
For this purpose you use both telephone and computer.
First you gather information about the truck, its position and the specific kind of problem. You register everything in the database of Volvo in English.
You check the payment possibilities and make sure that the payment guarentee is available. You contact the nearest dealer and inform him about the problem.
During the breakdown procedure you make sure that the customer and truckdriver are kept informed.
You are part of a team with certain language skills, but throughout the process you work closely together with other teams within Volvo Action Service.

Notes:
These jobs are all temporary as holiday replacement for a couple of months. If the evaluation is positive at the end of the period, there can be a possibility for extension.

Profile:
You are fluent in English in combination with:
- Swedish and Finnish
- Finnish and German

You are customer-oriented and have good communicative skills.
You also have good skills in MS Office applications and you are willing to work in a shift system (morning, afternoon, night and weekend shift).
