You will participate in different innovative projects/Activities/Epics to improve the simulation workflow at Volvo Group Truck Technology. You will have the opportunity to develop or improve applications Supporting Volvo GTT in its digital transformation journey and to achieve its commitments to reduce the global warming and therefore reduce its greenhouse gas emission.
Your Mission:
Identify engineering requirements and needs in the simulation / CAE area connected to pre-processing and managing CAD models to fit for simulation purpose.
This includes defining quality checks for CAD data, material data, etc.
Enable the deployment of a simulation process and data management system
Defining and creating user stories with the Simulation Stakeholders
Collaborate directly with stakeholders and development teams
Define requirements acceptance criteria in a form that allows testing the new functionality
Managing backlog with the Scrum master and the Product Owner using story points to help with the prioritization
Ensure that requirements are understood by all members of the team
Collaborate with other IT teams to develop solutions
Work proactively to be in a Continuous Development process
Preparing guidelines for end-users of the systems/application
Communication of all changes in the application to the users
Your competences/Experiences:
At least 1 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Good experience with CAD and CAE pre-processing
General simulation knowledge
Practical experience in:
documenting the requirements based on Agile methodology
conducting interviews with English-speaking stakeholders
working in Agile projects (Scrum, Kanban)
Ability to prepare, document, analyze and present an epic for revision and decision.
Fluency in English (both verbal & written)
Ability to effectively communicate with team members in multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams
Good knowledge of Collaborative tools such as Office 365, Confluence etc.

This role requires a Master University degree or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, computer science or engineering physics/chemistry
Good understanding of CAD & Simulation

Location
The position is based in Gothenburg Sweden, but is expected to serve all sites where Group Trucks Technology is present.
