Junior Business Controller

We are now looking for a Junior Business Controller to join the team!

About the team

You will be joining our Controlling team and report to the Head of Group Controlling. The team is part of the Storytel Business Administration department and consists of seven controllers. We exist to enable Storytel to realize its long-term goals and vision by making forecasts, following up on those forecasts and influence the organization to make the right decisions based on sound financial analysis.

About the role

You will be supporting the Controlling team to develop and maintain our financial models along with being a key part of our financial close process. The role includes working across various areas within the Streaming and Digital Publishing business where you will have a key role in assisting the Controlling team to create value within the organization. In addition to this, you will support the organization with ad-hoc analysis and developing business cases for various projects. The role provides lots of opportunities to grow in a fast-paced organization where you will get responsibilities quickly. We believe that this is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career with a strong interest in business development.

What you will do:

- Be a part of the financial reporting, analysis and budget monitoring to evaluate the company's financial performance.
- Provide insight and be a part of the forecast and budgeting process.
- Support the team and organization with financial reports and analysis along with maintaining our key financial models.
- Process and analyze large amounts of data in Excel and big data tools.

To be successful in this role we believe that you:

- Are newly graduated or at the beginning of your career
- Have an academic degree within Business Administration, Finance or equal
- Have previous experience in working within finance, accounting, or administration
- Have experience working with Excel or similar tools
- Are fluent in English both written and spoken
