Junior Business Controller

To Business Area Segment Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions (SMF) finance team, we’re currently looking for a young finance professional with an eagerness to progress your career. In this role, you ensure timely reporting of performance, forecasts and targets while supporting the operations with analysis, advice and tools to optimize performance. You prepare financial information for the SMF management team and prepare and plan forecast templates and reporting. You’re also part of the team setting financial targets, prioritize what activities we should focus on, and are involved in both planning and execution. As part of our growth ambition, which includes M&As, you might be involved in these processes and the following integration of acquired companies. To succeed, you set clear expectations and solid structures and you collaborate closely with financial resources both within SMF and with Sandvik Group finance functions in aligning internal financial systems, regulations and ways of working.
The location for this position is at our site Gasverket in Stockholm
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn more about business analysis and performance management. You have good knowledge in accounting and are an excellent Excel user – this shared with your analytical and structured features are a winning combination for this role. As a person, you’re flexible and a good communicator as well as an excellent team player who easily connect with people you encounter. Higher education within finance or business is a must. If you also have a background consisting of business control or audit its beneficial, as well as knowledge in BPC or IFRS. Working in a global context calls for great English skills, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
