Junior Business Controller

We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to join our Finance team and contribute to proactively drive M towards profitable growth and secure a financial perspective in our cross-functional teams. Our mission is to help more people to move freely, meaningfully and sustainably.
The Finance team plays a crucial role in improving existing, and establishing new processes within budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis. You will join a brilliant and multidisciplinary team of professionals who are in love with numbers (correct numbers!) and passionate about making M the best alternative to private car ownership. Your engagement here will include but won’t be limited to:
In the role of Junior Business Controller, you will contribute to the budgeting and forecasting activities, making sure the plans are in line with the strategic objectives of the company.
You will be involved in setting and creating the KPIs. You will analyse the business/financial results and help identify variances in the actual performance versus the initial targets and organise a follow-up process around these variances.
You will be the internal financial advisor, making thorough profitability analysis, and actively supporting the business functions of M with initiatives and projects from the financial perspective.
You will be a part of the monthly financial closing process, and participate in setting and developing the M reporting structure, owning the preparation of ad hoc and monthly presentations.
The right candidate for this role has the following experience:
You have 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
You have strong analytical and numerical skills and feel comfortable handling and analysing a large amount of data.
You enjoy holding presentations and making people around you understand the financial perspective of the organisation.
You studied Business Administration, Finance or an equivalent field (higher education).
You are proficient with the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Powerpoint, Think-cell).
You are comfortable working in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Able to work from the office in the center of Stockholm most days of the week.
