General Description:
The Junior Business Controller perform a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. We are
looking for a strategically minded which has strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to
present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner to ensure better budgeting, forecasting
and financial decisions and communicates with executive management about financial strategies.
Detailed Job Description:
Increases productivity by developing, enhancing and maintaining the financial planning areas and models in the FP&A System.
Maintains and coordinates group completion of monthly financial review templates and meetings.
Assists with monthly closing processes, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
Works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Researches and prepares monthly variance analysis and explanations.
Assists with the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
Reviews and analyzes financial statements for discrepancies and recommends way to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
Tracks KPIs and prepares financial reports.
Understands key business drivers and ensures that they are visible to the management team.
Assist with preparing financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies.
Coordinates supporting documentation for audits and assist Corporate Accounting in running audits.
Assists Corporate Accounting to ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and other special projects as needed.
Work Experience Requirements:
5+ years of private or public accounting experience.
2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
Working Knowledge IFRS Accounting principals.
Working knowledge of financial strategies.
Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, NetSuite, PowerBI and SQL Server.
Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
