Junior Business Infrastructure Manager for Volvo Group Digital IT

YOUR WORK

You will be part of Business Infrastructure Management which is a global department in charge of IT Infrastructure for internal users at Volvo Group. Responsible for IT services, IT equipment, telephony, helpdesk, and networks.

As Business Infrastructure Manager you will manage IT services by
capturing business needs and translating them into deliveries or service developments, communicating about our solutions, manage the budgets and quality. You will be the link between Volvo Group Digital & IT IOS and other functions at Volvo Group. Your engagement, communication, and coordination skills are required when you actively cooperate with various stakeholders. In this role, you will be part of a small team of experienced Infrastructure Managers who will mentor and guide you in your new role.

Your tasks include:

•Plan, prioritize and process requests for IT services
•Manage relationship and dialog with relevant Business- and Group IT stakeholders
•Coordinate site IT contacts community and related operations regionally for a consistent user experience
•Drive deployment and efficient adoption of new IT services
•Drive efficient usage of existing IT services and compliance with applicable guidelines and policies
•As a member of the Business Infrastructure Management, contribute to the Infrastructure Portfolios Service Strategy and Design work done by the Service Management Team

Required Qualifications:
•Higher education in IT, Information Systems or similar
•Fluent in Swedish and English

The following knowledge and experience are meritorious:
•Experience in IT support, network architecture, requirement analysis or project coordination
•Interest in automation
