Junior Buyer Electronics

ValueOne is looking for a Junior Buyer Electronics for a 7 month assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg. The assignment is to start in February 2022.

The role

The role means that you will manage a global commodity of Electrical Infrastructure components taking part in the development, industrialization, and running production phase with the aim to ensure the supply of materials and services, at the right cost, quality, and technology. You will be a member of a global team consisting of buyers, engineers, and co-workers within logistics and manufacturing.

Other main tasks:

Actively contribute to cost-saving activities and lead negotiations.
Handling order management and capacity assurance.

Experience and competence

We are looking for a person with 2-3 years of experience in operative purchasing and/or engineering work including commercial negotiation, preferably within the automotive industry. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is important (mandarin would be a benefit). Additionally the role requires good negotiation and communication skills and a strong business acumen. Furthermore we like you to be a strong team player, result driven with curiosity and high integrity.
