Job Description
As a Junior buyer at & Other Stories you are the link between the purchase and collection teams, working closely with both providing them with fast answers on product matters as well as supporting in product development.
Support on product development
Responsible for sample handling and administration
Support the buyer in the most efficient way of working
Support the buyer function with optimizing assortment and quantity per customer touch point/sales channel
Stay up to date with the latest trends and our customer
Responsible for ensuring supplier – and trailing quantity moves
Responsible for quantity moves in between channels for optimized selling
Understand the customer, visual goal, major product types
Take part and support of sales analysis
Prepare for different meetings, fitting, collection meeting etc.
Follow the timeline from a planning / and product development perspective
Qualifications
We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join us on the journey to become a leading fashion brand for modern femininity. In this role you will join our ready to wear team in our Stockholm Atelier. We believe you have good understanding of the working procedure from customer behavior to design, production and buying.
We would love to meet someone who:
Loves fashion, experience from working as a Junior Buyer with product development is a plus
Having an eye for details and strive to create the best product
Preferably have experience from working with several garment groups and premium materials and trims
Is hands-on and willing to work in detailed administrative level
Is an organized multi-tasker
Has a positive problem-solving attitude and is eager to find new ways
Is a team player and has a straightforward communication ability adding to an open atmosphere that allows growth
Has excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Has relevant education within buying, design and textile.
Additional Information
We are looking for two Junior Buyers, one is a permanent position and the other one is a temporary position. Both starting as soon as possible and they will be located at the Head Office in Stockholm.
