Job Description
As Junior Buyer, you will join a highly skilled and experienced team of designers, pattern makers and buyers. In your role, you will work in close collaboration with buyer, designers, patternmakers, section head and business controller dedicated to create the ARKET WOMENSWEAR collection of knitwear and denim, always with our target customer in mind and sustainability at the core of our work. You will actively support a Senior Buyer with daily tasks such as quantification, calculation, communication with our production offices, assortment planning, sample handling, placement, and quantification of orders. You take an active role in doing sales analysis, taking actions and follow-up. Organizing fitting sessions will also be one of your responsibilities as well as organizing and administrate wholesale.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have a strong business sense, customer focus and passion for fashion and analyses. As a Junior Buyer you will follow and analysing current trends as well as sales figures, so great analytical skills are key. You are passionate about developing the best product and have a good knowledge of materials. We value strong multitasking capabilities and a will to take action and ownership.
As Junior Buyer at ARKET you work in an environment where not every process and structure are set and flexibility, problem solving and a prestige less mindset will be important abilities to reach success. You will need to be organised, manage your time, and keep focus on what creates value, also when there is a lot to do.
