Junior consultants to Deal Strategy

Are you looking for a career within deal consulting, working with prominent clients in a collaborative international company? KPMG Deal Strategy is looking for new team members to our team in Stockholm and Gothenburg!

Your challenge

As a junior consultant in Deal Strategy, you will have the opportunity to work with prominent clients in various projects ranging between our two main competence areas: Integration and Separation, and Operational Strategy. Deal Strategy has a big growth focus at KPMG and you will play an active role of defining and shaping our future. As part of the team, you can expect a steep learning curve where you will have client exposure from day one and the possibility to become more specialized in your competence area of choice as you develop within the team.

Deal Strategy’s offering covers the entire deal process, from setting the strategy to performing post-deal support, involving both data-driven analysis and client-interactions. Our projects include but are not limited to:

- M&A strategy and implementation
- Divestment/carve-out strategies and assessments
- Carve-out and post-merger integration planning
- Due diligence (e.g. Commercial, Operational, IT due diligence)
- Operational strategy and value creation
- Operating model design

What do we offer?

You will receive guidance from senior team members with years of experience within deals consulting and learn our tools and methods working alongside them. Through the work, you will improve your leadership skills and gain deep knowledge about our capabilities and delivery models within the deal sphere. Together with KPMG colleagues, often from other departments or geographies within the KPMG global network, you will have the opportunity of working on exciting client engagements in various industries.

We are searching for ambitious and curious individuals with relevant academic background with interest in the dynamic nature of deals, looking for a career of continuing development while gaining a fundamental understanding of different industries. More specifically, we are looking for the following:

- Strong academic records, with a degree in Business and/or Engineering
- Open and positive attitude with the ability to build strong relationships to both team members and clients
- Analytical, with good understanding of business acumen
- Driven, takes accountability for their own work, and having an eye for detail
- Fluency in English is a requirement, Swedish fluency is highly valued and additional languages are meritorious
