Manufacturing Data and Analytics Hub
The Data & Analytics organization in manufacturing is called Manufacturing Data and Analytics Hub, responsible for delivering data and analytical products that address business needs and support business objectives.

What you’ll do
As a Data Engineer you will belong to the data team in the manufacturing data hub. The mission of the data team is to provide manufacturing-data fit for purpose for analytics and dashboarding both within manufacturing as well as to the rest of the company.
Data Engineers plays a crucial role in ensuring that the manufacturing data is available and fit for purpose, accurate, consistent and secured in a way that complies with our set policies.
You will collaborate and engage with the manufacturing community as well as with the digital community to ensure our data products are shipped and provided in a
Collaborate with other engineers in the team to integrate the data into well-defined data products
Create business- and enterprise-aligned data products based on our information models and rules to ensure the data products are fit for purpose.
Communicate effectively to stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment of development efforts with business needs.
What you‘ll bring
We think you have a bachelor's or master’s degree in information management, data science, computer science, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, query authoring, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Ability to articulate data concepts to stakeholders at all levels and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills , strong ownership with a can-do mentality.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of / experience with data mesh concepts
Prior experience within an automotive environment
Experience with knowledge graphs and semantic modelling
Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) and data pipeline and workflow management tools.
