About the Job
In the role as a Data Scientist at Lynx Asset Management, you will be a part of the Data team and find yourself in the heart of the information flow that fuels Lynx’s systematic investment process.
As a Data Scientist you will:
- Facilitate research on the investment side by exploring, preparing and explaining data.
- Develop algorithms and programs to safeguard data quality.
- Develop algorithms for creating derived data series based on investment side requirements.
- Collaborate with system developers in the team, providing requirements for future product development.
The analysis of data plays an increasingly important role in maintaining competitiveness in an industry strongly dependent on data. This opportunity presents both exciting new technical challenges and avenues for personal growth.
Who are you?
To succeed in the role as a Data Scientist at Lynx Asset Management we believe you should either have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least three years of experience as a data scientist in similar workloads and tools.
Ideally you have experience in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, various quantitative and visualization libraries as well as a broader understanding of programming, especially web client- and server-side development.
