Junior Designer – H&M Kids Sport

The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers. As Junior Designer H&M Kids Sport you are responsible for assisting the Design team at Kids Sport. Together with the rest of the team, you will be involved in designing and developing the collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets and omni channels. You will contribute with updated fashion sports insights for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity, and fully global perspective. High pace and rapid changes are a natural part of the work environment. You will do flat sketching, be part of fittings, work on overviews and more, as you contribute to developing our Kids sport collection.
We believe that you as a person are driven, hands-on and self-motivated with a tenacity to take this exciting step as Junior Kids Sport Designer. You have a curious mindset and a genuine passion for sportswear. You are well-organized, love teamwork and have strong and clear communication skills. You enjoy taking initiative, are driven and flexible. You are motivated by participating to build the Kids sports collection, adapting, and finding new ways of working in a creative, highly entrepreneurial, and diverse environment
In addition to matching the personal profile we also seek the following qualifications:
A minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion/Textile Design
A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ work experience as a Junior Designer, preferably from a Sportswear background
Passion for sports and/or fashion design demonstrating strong trend sensitivity
Used to translating creative fashion vision into commercial products with clear customer focus
Strong skills in and used to work at high speed in Adobe Suite programs
CLO 3D knowledge an advantage
Strong in design process, attention to detail, color, material, cut and silhouette
Agile entrepreneurial mindset and adaptable to fast changes
A flexible, positive, and inspirational team player
Fluent in English, written and verbal
