Job Description
Do you have a deep sense for fashion and upcoming trends? Are you a creative, highly organized and experienced junior designer, used to manage and drive multiple tasks at the same time? Then this might be the role for you!
As a Junior Designer at Trend, you will assist the Product Designer with technical sketching, designing women’s woven trousers, blazers, dresses, skirts and blouses, assist in fittings and handle the design part of sample follow up. You will give constant high level input about the latest, upcoming trends and seasonal keys with a global perspective. Together with the rest of the team, you will assist in developing the collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets and omni channels. This requires high energy, creativity and ability to contribute with fresh trend perspectives.
Qualifications
We look for you who:
• Are creative with a genuine passion for women’s fashion trends yet with a strong commercial eye
• Have a BA/MA degree in Fashion/Textile Design and a min 1 year work experience as a Junior Designer
• Have experience from woven women’s products
• Have strong skills in collection, color coordination and visual communication.
• Have a great eye for detail, materials and trims
• Are fast and highly skilled in Adobe Suite programs
• 3D CLO work experience is meriting
• Are very driven, can work independently and used to take own initiatives
• Enjoy teamwork and have great general communication skills
• Can handle a very fast-paced work environment
• Understand the H&M Trend target customer
• Fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)
