Inspiration is taken from the seasons key tendencies balancing the classic and the modern, the formal and the casual.
Job Description
As a Junior Designer in the menswear department you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Designer working across multi product. Together with the rest of the team, you will be involved in developing the collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets and omni channels. You will contribute with updated fashion insights for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and fully global perspective. High pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day. This is a big section with a large product group, so being a quick learner with good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes, is essential.



Qualifications


We believe you have a genuine passion for menswear both from a commercial and aspirational standpoint. The product groups include smart casualwear across jersey, knitwear, trousers, and shorts.
We are looking for you who have:
A minimum of a BA qualification in Textile/Fashion or Graphic Design
A minimum of 1-2 years work experience as a JR Designer
Strong skills in and used to work at high speed in Adobe Suite programs
Attention to detail and knowledge of woven materials are key
Good skills in patternmaking, tailoring and cut are meriting
A visionary mindset with true passion for men’s Contemporary Smart, current and future trends
A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
Strong communication skills and true team player
A highly organized and structured work routine
Capacity to work in a very fast-paced and everchanging work environment
A strong self drive and can take own initiatives
