Job Description
As a Junior Designer you will be responsible for assisting the Product Designer and collaborating closely with the Womenswear team. We are looking for a talented individual with a passion & eye for womenswear fashion & trends. You will have a strong sense of socks & tights being a fashion item and how they can style an outfit. Responsibility will cover technical sketches, designing and handling the design part of sample follow up. Together with the rest of the team, you will assist in developing the socks & tights collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets omni channels. You will contribute with updated fashion insights for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and a fully global perspective. High pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day. This is a large range with many articles, so being a quick learner with good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes, is essential!
Qualifications
We believe you have a genuine passion for women’s fashion both from a commercial and aspirational standpoint. In addition to this we are also looking for:
A minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion/ Textile design
A minimum of 1-2 years work experience as a Junior Designer
Strong skills in and used to work at high speed in Adobe Suite programs
A visionary mindset with true passion for womenswear trends
A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
Strong communication skills and true team player
A highly organized and structured work routine
Capacity to work in a very fast-paced and everchanging work environment
A strong self drive and can take own initiatives
Fluent in verbal and written English

This is a Temporary 12-month position in Stockholm and starting date is as soon as possible.
