Job Description
Are you the right person to be a part of establishing the most loved retail lifestyle destination with quality, sustainability and modernity at its core? Are you an experienced Woven Junior Designer who would like to develop your design skills further in our creative customer focused environment? If you have this is combination with a commercial eye, great energy and communication skills, you might be the one we look for!
As Junior Designer in our RTW Women’s department, you will be part of the collection team with the main focus to create the best offer for our target customer. Based on the visual goal, you will contribute to the collection range by supporting the Senior Designer in planning and developing the products and assortment. The focus for this role is light wovens/soft separates to include dresses, skirts, tops, blouses/shirts. You will contribute with fresh ideas through your excellent ability to foresee and analyze upcoming trends, and assist to translate them to our business concept. You will take part in fitting sessions, take responsibility of design related sample handling. Creating flat sketches of the highest standard is a big part of the job, to ensure our designs are communicated in an optimal way.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
Is a Junior Designer with a BA in fashion design minimum 1-2 years work experience
Have a strong sense of fashion forward trends and a good surrounding world analysis with a truly global perspective
Love working with commercial fashion, are business minded, goal oriented and have an entrepreneurial mindset
Are highly creative and take action to be an inspiration to your team members
Preferably have experience working with light woven products and materials
Have strong technical garment construction/pattern cutting skills and eye for detail
Have excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite programs and illustration and also hand drawing skills
You have strong time management and organizational skills
Are flexible, open minded and positive
Can work at a high pace, unafraid of hard work in periods, high and low with no prestige
Always see possibilities, improvements and can inject and push new ideas to the team
Are a great communicator, unafraid to take a step forward and speak up
Are a driven team player and can also work independently with a strong self drive

This is a full time temporary 11/12 contract to start 1st September 2021
