Dina arbetsuppgifter

Within the technology development department, AP&T research, evaluate and develop manufacturing processes within focused business areas such as hot forming of different kind of metals with the result to create parts that can satisfy our customers increasing needs in light weighting and increased safety.

Tasks:
-Research and evaluate processes
-Conduct tests at AP&T:s production Try -out line in the Ulricehamn factory
-Optimize the interaction between processes and metallurgy for different metals
-Work closely with external research institutes, material suppliers and potential customers
-Supporting AP&T:s product development, technical sales and marketing organisation

Your job will consist of both theoretical work and practical work, with participation in Swedish and European funded research projects.

Din profil

-Technical University degree preferably at Master level, with focus on material/metallurgy and/or manufacturing processes.
- Excellent written and oral skills in English is necessary. If Swedish is not your mother tongue, you are willing to learn this.

Experience in lightweight metals, such as Aluminium is an advantage and also other language skills.

We are looking for a person with genuine interest in new technology, materials and/or manufacturing processes. You are passionate in taking exiting technical ideas to an industrial level. Furthermore we are looking for an analytical, problem solver who enjoys working in teams and have great social skills.
