We are now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to PowerCell. PowerCell develops and produces Hydrogen Electric Fuel Cells for a wide variety of applications, including solutions for transport on and off road, marine, and stationary. The fuel cells produce electricity with no other emissions than water and heat.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
PowerCell develops and produces fuel cell stacks and systems for stationary and mobile applications with a world-class power density. As the stacks and systems are compact, modular, and scalable, they are easily adjusted to any customer need. PowerCell has customers all over the world who have made the switch to renewable energy sources which contribute to a better environment and a sustainable future.
PowerCell is now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Systems Integration team. The position will contain a wide range of both theoretical and practical tasks within high-voltage electric vehicle systems and/or other DC power systems.
Examples of your day-to-day tasks:
Development of safe and compliant fuel cell system products, with specific responsibility on the electrical subsystem: specification, design, and testing.
Electrical integration of fuel cell systems in different applications: different types of vehicles, stationary power, marine & aviation.
Collaborate with customers, external partners, and component suppliers.
Specification and testing of power electronics and other components associated with electrical integration.
Commissioning and field-testing.
Technical sales support and concept development.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Has a relevant degree geared towards electrical design, for example electrical engineering or similar.
Has knowledge of 2D-CAD design software used for electrical design.
Has good technical understanding.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Beneficial experiences:
Good understanding of automotive and industrial control systems and principles.
System-level knowledge of high-voltage electric vehicle systems and/or grid-connected power systems.
Personal qualities:
You have a strong drive and will to achieve progress.
Communicative and capable of documenting designs and work in an organized way.
Eager to keep learning and developing.
Focused on creating value.
You embrace change in a fast-paced environment where focus and responsibilities sometimes change quickly.
ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT:
This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment after 12 months will result in a permanent position at PowerCell.

Employment type: Full-time, long-term.
Start date: As soon as possible/according to the agreement.
