ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS hardware development in the electronics area, and thus ensuring that the products will meet the standards required by customers. The role includes actively following development of electronics systems within the automotive industry. You will be monitoring internal test planning and review test results and You will support for setting up the attribute assessment planning and follow-up and report progress. You will use your knowledge and new findings continuously to develop and refine NEVS connectivity, chassis, comfort electronics or infotainment platforms.

A few of your day-to-day tasks:
Develop electronic systems for automotive together with other engineers
Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, system, and component level
Monitor internal test planning and review test results
Support engineers across the NEVS organization in system and component specifications
Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals, and product offerings


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The must-haves:

Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or physics
Engineering experience from either comprehensive projects in school or your free time
Good understanding of electronics, such as PCB, circuit design and component design
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT:

This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both NEVS and Friday is that the assignment after 6 months will result in a permanent position at NEVS.
