Junior Engineers - System test 3G

The Radio Network Controller (RNC) is the 'brain' in a 3G radio network. The RNC connects the fixed telephony and data network to a large number of radio base stations and controls the radio cells and mobile handset activities within them. For new graduates, this is a great opportunity to get an overall picture of the 3G system and develop competence in the latest mobile systems technology. Testing is undertaken using the latest test techniques and processes. Simulators developed in-house are used. Job Description The system tester will ensure the quality of the RNC when it comes to new customer requirements, that the RNC is robust enough to handle heavy traffic loads, and that the characteristics and configuration are correct. In the daily work you will do test analyses, preparing test scenarios, performing test, evaluating test results and troubleshooting faults. Competence *An eager attitude to learn both on broad front as in depth. *To be a quick learner as well as having an analytic nature. *To be accurate with details *A personality that is keen to solve problems as they arise and do so creatively. *To work well independently but also as team player who puts a lot of focus on achieving results on time and with high quality. Formal competence A Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in computer science / electric engineering, or equivalent academic qualifications. Experience with C, C++ and/or Java and script language (Perl, Python etc)
